A structuring and reassuring framework

Young children need landmarks to feel safe. At the Crèche Coccinelle, each day follows a regular pace, with well-identified activity, rest and meal times. This predictable framework reassures the children… and the parents!
But because each child is unique, we are flexible: our team adapts transitions, napping times and meal times according to age, personal rhythm and the emotional state of the day.

The indicative course of a day

Here is an overview of the typical course of a day at the crèche. Of course, these schedules may vary slightly depending on the sections and individual needs.

Morning reception

The children arrive gradually, accompanied by their parents. It's a quiet exchange moment where you take the time to say hello, to separate gently, and to find your bearings.

Free and directed activity times

After a little regrouping ritual (rhyme, weather of the day, etc.), make way for discoveries! Sensory activities, symbolic games, reading, painting, motor skills… The choice is varied and adapted to each age.

The meal

The children share a meal prepared on site based on fresh, local and seasonal products. It is a moment of learning (autonomy, language) but also of conviviality.

Calm weather and siesta

The children join their rest space. Reassuring rituals, cuddly toys, subdued atmosphere: everything is put in place to promote a restful sleep.

Afternoon activities and snacks

When you wake up, a balanced snack is offered. Then, make way for softer activities: stories, music, outdoor games depending on the weather.

Progressive departures and transmissions

The children leave over the water. The team takes the time to pass on the highlights of the day to the parents: meals, naps, moods, activities. A precious moment to nurture the relationship of trust.

Adaptation to individual needs

If the routine reassures, respect for the individual rhythm is fundamental, especially in the little ones.
