Encourage autonomy and self-confidence

From 18 months, the children affirm their personality and their desire to do alone. Our team supports them with Kindness and patience, so that they gain autonomy day by day.

This goes through simple but essential actions:

Put on or take off your slippers

Choose an activity

Learn to put things away

Start eating alone at the table

Recognize and express emotions

We do not force autonomy, we encourage it at the right time, in a secure and motivating setting.

A rich and varied program of activities

In this section, each day is punctuated by fun and educational workshops, adapted to the age and desires of the children. Our pedagogy feeds on their interests and promotes the pleasure of learning.
Examples of activities offered:
  • Creative workshops: painting, modeling clay, collage
  • Construction: LEGO, Kapla, Wooden Blocks
  • Language development: stories, nursery rhymes, sound games
  • Music and dance
  • Psychomotricity and movement games
  • first sets of rules (wait your turn, cooperate)
  • Thematic projects around the seasons, nature, animals, etc.

All in a healthy balance between free play, supervised exploration and calm time.

Preparing for the future: smoothly towards kindergarten

Growing up, children are naturally preparing for the next step: entry to school.
At the Crèche Coccinelle, we accompany this transition without pressure, smoothly:

  • regular routines that structure the day
  • Development of autonomy (toilets, meals, storage)
  • Compliance with simple instructions
  • Familiarization with collective times

For children about to take their first steps at school, we also offer a transport service to the early school in Crauthem.

School transport & reception at the crèche

We provide school transport for children from the early school in Crauthem to our crèche in order to facilitate the organization of families and to offer continuity in the care of children.

during the school period

Every day, we take care of the children directly at school between 11:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. They are then accompanied safely to the crèche, where they share the midday meal in a friendly atmosphere adapted to their needs.

The afternoon continues at the crèche with various activities promoting the awakening, autonomy and development of each child, in a benevolent and secure setting.

During school holidays

During holiday periods, children are welcomed at the crèche throughout the day.

A program specially designed for these periods is offered to them: outings, creative activities, educational games, discoveries and moments of relaxation punctuate the days. Each activity is designed to stimulate curiosity, encourage learning and guarantee shared pleasure moments.

Our priority is to provide children with a warm, secure and stimulating environment throughout the year.
